报告题目：Real or not: The 3.5 keV line?
报告摘要：The 3.5 keV emission line is a newly discovered feature in Xrays, independently by Bulbul et al. (2014) and Boyarsky et al. (2014). Though the detection of this line is still under debate, its mysterious origin has attracted much attention from a variety of researchers. Of the most interest is the scenario that this line is produced by the two-body decay of so-called sterile neutrinos, which is one of the candidates of the dark matter particle. As more and more attention has been paid, louder become the voices of different views on whether this line is a real signal, or just an artifact. However, yet a conclusion can be made so far. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the story of this special line: how it was found; what are the explanations of its possible origin; the debate on its authenticity. Real or not, that is still an open question.
