摘 要:Star formation is a fundamental problem in astrophysics. While there is a generally accepted picuture on how Sun-like stars form, massive star formation has long been a mystery, and the formation mechanism of most massive O stars are particularly highly debated. Here I will show high-angular-resolution dust continuum and molecular line observations of two O-star-forming regions, one in a very young, proto-stellar stage and the other in a relatively more developed stage, and discuss their implications on the underlying star-forming mechanism.
