摘 要:Star formation is a key process in cosmic structure expression. Star formation involves gravity, turbulence, magnetic field, chemistry, feedback from young stars, and the coupling of all the processes involved. The apparent complexities has denied us a concise theory or model. Largely due to the advent of large format focal plane arrays from radio to infrared bands, comprehensive data sets have become available for galactic star forming regions. I will discuss four such observations here, which contribute to a unifying paradigm of star formation. 1)HI Narrow Self-Absorption (HINSA) 2) Ionized and Neutral Carbon in Galactic Disk 3) CO and HC3N in Taurus Molecular Cloud 4)NH3 in Orion. These observations shed lights on the time scale, thermal balance, and dynamic evolution of star formation.
