　　Space Weather and Space Radiation and their effects on space explorations

　　Abstract:cruise to and on the surface of Mars since its launch in November 2011. RAD has detected several SEP (Solar Energetic Particles) events and numerous ICME (Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejection) caused Forbush decreases. We will present an overview of these first-ever radiation measurement on Mars compared to various modeling results for better understanding space radiation environment and better estimating risks of human explorations in space.
