题目：Astrain-based porosity model for use in hydrocode simulations of impacts and implications for transient crater growth in porous targets

摘要：Numerical modelling of impact cratering has reached a high degree of sophistication;however,the treatment of porous materials still poses a large problem in hydrocode calculations. This study present a novel approach and the foremost intention in designing the ε-alpha model was to describe the mechanics of pore-space closure as a result of compression,with a view to studying the effect of porosity on crater growth. Our model is simple (only four model parameters) and efficient;making it particularly convenient for planetary-scale impact simulations that are beyond the scope of experiment. The model is simple and intuitive and shows good agreement with a wide variety of experimental data,ranging from static compaction tests to highly dynamic impact experiments. This study present preliminary numerical model results that suggest that both porosity and internal friction play an important role in limiting crater growth over a large range in gravity-scaled source size.
