报告简介:SMBHs can strongly enhance the local dark matter density in their surroundings due to their strong gravity. This enhancement can significantly amplify dark matter-related processes, and make potential signals more detectable than in other astrophysical environments. Recent breakthroughs in stellar dynamics in Galactic Centre (GRAVITY/Keck), horizon-scale black hole imaging (EHT), stochastic gravitational-wave background (PTAs), and early-Universe galaxy observations (JWST) provide powerful, complementary probes of the environment around SMBHs. In this talk, I will discuss how these multimessenger observations can be used to search for signatures of dark matter near SMBHs, including WIMPs, ultralight dark matter, axion-like particles, and primordial black holes. I will highlight how dark matter may influence the SMBHs observations, and how SMBHs can serve as unique laboratories for testing dark matter physics.
