报告摘要:Massive stars form within cold molecular clouds and emit intense ultraviolet radiation that ionizes their surroundings, giving rise to H II regions. This ionization feedback plays a crucial role in shaping the ambient medium and subsequent star formation. In this talk, I will present recent observational advances based on data from major radio facilities such as ALMA, with a focus on the interaction between H II regions and their surrounding dense molecular gas across different evolutionary stages of massive star formation. The results demonstrate that ionization feedback is intrinsically complex, with its effects strongly dependent on local physical conditions. Consequently, it cannot be simply classified as either “positive” or “negative,” but instead exhibits a dynamic and context-dependent influence on the star formation process.
