潘治政，男，硕士生导师。1985年11月生于广西南宁。2013年毕业于中国科学技术大学天文系，获天体博士学位。2013-2015在上海天文台做博士后研究，2015年12月到紫金山天文台工作，2019至今任副研究员。研究工作聚焦于利用紫外、光学多波段数据，结合模型，研究星系的形成与演化，迄今为止在ApJ，MNRAS等国际主流天文学杂志发表研究论文30余篇，其中第一作者/通讯作者文章14篇。主持过江苏省和国家自然科学基金委青年项目各一项，目前主持在研基金委面上基金项目一项，参与国家重点研发项目。
