报告题目:Modelling the global coronal magnetic field: Models, challenges and plans

摘要:Getting insights regarding the global magnetic field structure of The solar corona is an important research project on its own right and also necessary to guide future solar missions like ASO-S and Solar Orbiter. The first developed and most easy to apply model is the so called Source-Surface Potential field model (PFSS), which is current free. Non-potential effects are, however, import for an accurate modelling of the global field structure. We compare 7 widely used non-potential models, which vary in physical assumptions, numerical implementation, used boundary data and spatial resolution. This is a challenging task, because one has to compare nonlinear force models with models including plasma effects, as well as static and time-dependent models.
